We just secured our very own indoor facility and we are SO pumped! Over the past three years we’ve been fortunate to have access to spaces through the winter, but this one is ours, and it’s a huge deal for us!
Today, as I moved equipment in, cleaned up, and prepared to set up an amazing facility, I was overcome with immense gratitude to everyone who has been with us to this point. There are, of course, the kids, who all this is really for. But also the parents and caregivers, the volunteers of all ages, the other nonprofit groups who have worked with us right from the start, the mentors who took the time to help and guide me (and who continue to do so), and all of you who follow, engage, encourage, and support what we’re doing with Impact!
We cannot thank you enough. This isn’t just a place to skate, but a place to learn, create, and become the best versions of ourselves—a place to come together and grow; to give back; to build community by building each other up.
