Last week and this week are Impact’s first Winter Break Camp, and it’s been so much fun! Kids are learning about resilience on their boards, as well as etiquette, skills development, and methods of learning. We’ve also done some work in rhythm using the drum machine, and some awesome discussions on gender discrimination and environmental sustainability.
As a non-profit, it’s part of our mission to provide programming to all children and youth, especially those facing financial barriers. Every time you sign up for a program or drop in for open skate, you’re supporting kids and families in need. We couldn’t do any of this work without you, and we’re so grateful for the incredible community that surrounds us!
