Took a trip up to North Bay with @ramp2rail to set up a shiny new miniramp at @outloud_northbay! The build was a great time as always, but the highlight was seeing what Seth—the founder of OUTLoud—has created in such a short time!
The space has that indescribable positive energy—a warm, welcoming atmosphere and so much to offer young people: a stage with musical instruments, foosball, pool table, board games, cafe, video games, library, homework area with computers and wifi, and now a skate spot! But most of all it offers kids a place to belong, with mentors who care. OUTLoud was created with a focus on LGBTQ youth, but it’s a safe, friendly place for everyone!
It was great to chat with Seth and hear how all the pieces have come together. Really excited to see how the space and the organization will continue to grow! And of course it was an honor to help bring the skateboard element to this already incredible centre!
